Join us for a 10 mile training program for the 1st Annual Michael R. Raisor "Celebrate Life" 10 Miler on Sat., April 20, 2013. As the official training program for the Celebrate Life race, we can help you reach your running or walking goals.
Training sessions will be on Tuesday evenings at 5:30 pm., and Saturday mornings at 9 am. Along the way, we'll be providing you with motivation, guidance and advice, weekly group training runs or walks, and educational clinics. Program includes: 13 week training schedule, on site coaching from certified running coaches, weekly coached group runs twice per week, team support and encouragement, educational clinics, core training program, foam rolling, Trigger Point therapy, free injury screenings by physical therapists, post run refreshments.
For those of you interested in this 10 mile distance, pace groups, speedwork, and a distance-specific training plan will enable anyone who can currently run 5 miles to either finish their first 10 mile race or improve over a previous performance.
An informational and orientation meeting for the training program will be held at the store on Thursday, January 17th at 7:00pm and on Saturday, January 19th at 9am.
